CONTENT COMPONENT


  • TEXT: The original words of something written, printed, or spoken, in contrast to a summary or paraphrase. (www.thoughtco.com, 2019)
    • Strength : can contain complete information, reduce miscommunication
    • Weaknesses: usually contain many paragraphs (too long), not really attractive
  • PICTURE: a visual representation of an object. 
    • Strength: more attractive
    • Weakness: hard to understand the information from a picture
  • AUDIO: relates to sound or its reproduction and especially high-fidelity reproduction (Merriam Webster, 2020)
    • Strength: more clearly to get the point of an information
    • Weakness:  the tools to record the audio sometimes can be broken
  • VIDEO:  video is a picture in the frame, where frame by frame is projected through the projector lens mechanically so that the screen looks alive (Azhar Arsyad, 2011)
    • Strength: Has more than one convergence media, reduce the size of a physical object, interactive
    • Weakness: Needs special software
  • ANIMATION: a method in which pictures are manipulated to appear as moving images.
    • Strength: Brings a topic to life, it gains the attention of the viewer, can be fun to watch, educational games and quizzes allow the visitor to interact and learn.
    • Weakness: Takes a lot of effort to create even a basic animation, needs skill in using the animation software such as Flash, too much animation on a page can be distracting and even annoying - for example too many animated adverts on a page, can take up a lot of bandwidth, so will take too long to show over a slow internet connection and needs the correct 'add-in' to view the file format.

Here basically shows the entire story about a family which the mother was panicked because they ran out of toilet paper and cannot go out because of the COVID-19. So the problem was solved by her son who introduced the Amazon Application to her.
